Preparing for a bike tour

Preparing for the tours is a training plan for your best form. The optimal solution for those who want to remotely prepare for a bike tour in the mountains and reach a new level of physical fitness.

Be ready to conquer mountain passes, long trips along trails, have a reserve of strength for new achievements every day and enjoy the process as much as possible. To do this, we have developed a remote training system for each tour in our program, taking into account the specifics of the specific route.

We have been successfully training amateur athletes for 8 years at our Yolochka Sports Club.

How does it work?

  • Goal. Choose a bike tour (possibly an amateur race), which we will prepare for. We are discussing the possibilities and types of training that are suitable for you.
  • Testing. We are giving you a task to test your current physical fitness. Fill out the athlete's questionnaire, enter your data, test results, and a plan. The coach makes a training plan that harmoniously adapts to your routine.
  • Training. During training, with the help of a special sports application, the implementation of the plan is monitored, the load is adjusted.
  • Result. You are developing strength and endurance, ready to conquer new routes.

What is necessary for distance training?

  • The presence of a heart rate sensor and a sports watch (bicycle computer)
  • Availability of a bike station or smart bike in the fitness club.
  • Feedback on training performance.

The trainer will select the optimal load according to your physical condition and depending on the difficulty level of the route you have chosen.

Training programs

  1. Introductory briefing on the implementation of the training plan (1 hour video call). An individual training plan for a month, without adjustments and feedback.

Chat with the coach 1-2 times a week.
